Lockwashers boost grip by adding torsional resistance, keeping pieces tight and preventing loosening over time.
First up: External Tooth Lockwashers. The outwardly angled teeth bite into both surfaces, giving them the strongest locking power. This is the standard version, but they’re also available in a Countersunk style.
Internal Tooth Lockwashers have a cleaner look. The teeth are angled inward, perfect for when you want the washer hidden under a small screw head.
Internal / External Combo Tooth Lockwashers have a larger outer diameter, so they’re the best for oversized holes. They also have a larger bearing surface, which means more stability.
Split Lockwashers are very popular. The offset ends give extra torque resistance and even pressure. They come in various styles: Heavy Duty, High Collar, High Alloy, you name it!
